Workshops are a way to unite self-reliance, by trading stories and skills.

I run community workshops for various groups wanting to unite. Company team building days, charities, families, wedding parties and baby showers have all benefited.

It can be intimate or expansive, for a few or for many. We can set intentions and celebrate moments. We run community flags by gathering as a group around a piece of cloth, and sewing onto the flag or crafting smaller pieces which are appliquéd onto the canvas. I teach hand techniques which are durable and beautiful; using embroidery, boro, sashiko, plating, weaving and stitching. It is a reflective and expansive process.
